Cindy, thinking of you today. I can’t be there today, but my appreciation and respect for you is not lessened by my absence. Your mentorship was invaluable to me and my career, and what fun we had in the process. Our shared love of Prince kept us going on those longer shifts! You will be greatly missed as a friend, colleague and Nurse. All my love 4ever! 💜

Cindy, my comrade, my bridesmaid, my bestest friend. We met on day one of our nurse training in 2002 and stuck together like glue. You inspired me every day. Your insight and vision, your care and compassion, your intelligence but above all your humour. I’ve never laughed with anyone the way I laughed with you. Our careers took us in different directions but we were always special to one another no matter how much time passed. Thank you for the years of friendship, support and fun. I will miss you forever my beautiful friend. Rest in peace until we met again 🕊️💗
